So earlier this week I heard that Ashley Furniture was having their annual tent sale. I was pretty excited about that, because during the tent sale you can get really good deals. Being that we are closing on our house in just a couple of weeks, and that we need a place to store extra towels and sheets, we figured we should check it out.

The tent sale starts at 11 am every day. We arrived at 10 after 11. You'd think that would be a perfect time, right?

FALSE. Anything that we would have been halfway interested in was gone right away. How the tent sale works is, colored tags are put on the items for sale. If people see something they like they rip the tag off. Once the tag is gone, too bad.

It was an interesting study in human behavior, however. It is amazing how far people will go to save a few bucks.
